1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and timeInvite.com (“TimeInvite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, connecting a calendar, purchasing a subscription, accepting an invitation as a delegate, booking a meeting, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to create an organizer account. You must provide accurate information, maintain a working sign-in method, and keep your account and connected-provider access secure.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for promptly notifying us at support@timeinvite.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Organizer accounts may require administrative approval before calendar access or public booking features become available.
Account owners may invite authorized delegates where supported by their plan. Owners are responsible for choosing appropriate delegates, reviewing their access, and removing access when it is no longer required.
3. The Service
TimeInvite helps organizers publish availability, receive verified booking requests, create calendar events, send invitations and reminders, and allow participants to manage eligible bookings. Features may vary by plan, provider, configuration, location, or account status.
The Service relies on information and permissions supplied by users and third-party calendar providers. Availability is an estimate based on the calendars, working hours, buffers, notice rules, and other settings selected by the organizer. Organizers remain responsible for reviewing their calendars and meeting commitments.
TimeInvite is a scheduling tool. We are not a party to meetings arranged through the Service and do not control the conduct, identity, qualifications, statements, products, or services of organizers or booking visitors.
4. Organizer, delegate, and visitor responsibilities
Organizers and delegates are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate availability, time-zone, cancellation, confirmation, reminder, and calendar settings.
- Having a lawful basis to collect and use visitor information and calendar invitations.
- Providing any notices or obtaining any consent required for their meetings, communications, regulated activities, or independent data practices.
- Ensuring meeting descriptions, links, instructions, and communications are accurate and appropriate.
- Complying with employment, consumer-protection, privacy, accessibility, anti-spam, professional, and other laws applicable to their use.
Booking visitors are responsible for providing accurate contact information, using verification and management links only for their intended purpose, and attending, cancelling, or rescheduling in accordance with the organizer’s stated rules.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate law, infringe rights, facilitate fraud, or misrepresent identity or authority.
- Send spam, harassment, threats, discriminatory content, malware, or deceptive booking invitations.
- Access another person’s account, calendar, booking, management link, or data without authorization.
- Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass security, rate limits, plan limits, or access controls.
- Use automated systems to create abusive bookings or extract information beyond ordinary use of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except under a written agreement with TimeInvite.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable steps to protect users, providers, and the Service.
6. Plans, trials, billing, and taxes
Paid plans, included features, calendar limits, delegate limits, billing intervals, discounts, and prices are described on the pricing or checkout page and may change prospectively. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
If a trial is offered, its duration and payment-method requirements are shown during registration or checkout. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a subscription may automatically begin and renew at the interval selected during checkout. You authorize Stripe and TimeInvite to charge the payment method associated with your subscription for recurring fees and applicable taxes.
You can manage eligible payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation through the billing portal made available in your account. Upgrades may take effect immediately and may be prorated. Downgrades or cancellations may take effect at the end of the current billing period, depending on the option shown when the request is made.
Except where required by law or expressly stated in a written offer, fees already paid are non-refundable. Failure to pay may result in a grace period, restriction of public booking features, suspension, or cancellation.
7. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third parties such as Google, Microsoft, Stripe, email providers, and optional security providers. Your use of those services remains subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. TimeInvite is not responsible for third-party outages, account restrictions, permission changes, data handling, or feature modifications.
You authorize TimeInvite to take the calendar actions you request, such as checking availability and creating, updating, or deleting events associated with TimeInvite bookings. You may revoke provider access, but doing so may disable availability checks, synchronization, meeting-link creation, or booking management.
8. User content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of information and content you submit to the Service. You grant TimeInvite a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, format, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service and fulfill your requests.
TimeInvite and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, designs, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. These Terms do not grant permission to copy our software, branding, or proprietary materials except as necessary to use the Service.
If you provide feedback, you authorize us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how TimeInvite handles personal information and connected-calendar data. Organizers may have their own privacy obligations and policies. Visitors should review any privacy notice supplied by the organizer with whom they are booking.
10. Suspension, cancellation, and termination
You may stop using the Service or cancel an eligible subscription through the account and billing controls provided. Account cancellation may begin a limited recovery period before account information is deleted or anonymized, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, legal requirements, security risk, abuse, violation of these Terms, harm to users or providers, or material operational risk. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions—will remain in effect.
11. Service availability and disclaimers
We work to provide a reliable scheduling service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, delivery of every email or invitation, availability of any third-party integration, or that every displayed time will remain available. Maintenance, provider outages, internet conditions, calendar changes, spam filtering, and circumstances beyond our control may affect the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeInvite and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or missed meetings arising from or related to the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeInvite’s aggregate liability arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to TimeInvite during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TimeInvite and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, your meetings or independent business practices, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
14. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. General terms
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement concerning ordinary use of the Service unless a separate written agreement applies.
Applicable law governs these Terms and any dispute, without overriding consumer rights that cannot be waived. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally.
